Cathay Pacific Asia Miles can be earned by transferring rewards from more than 10 airline and hotel partners directly to your account. This includes major programs such as AMEX Membership Rewards, Citi ThankYou Points, and Capital One Venture & Spark Rewards.

Asia Miles Transfer Partner Calculator

Cathay Pacific Asia Miles is the direct transfer partner of several rewards programs. This lets you earn points in these partner programs and transfer the points you earned directly to your Asia Miles account. This opens up a bunch of new ways to earn miles since you U.S. residents only have access to one Cathay Pacific credit card. Below is a list of transfer partners. Membership Rewards Points

Earning Membership Rewards Points are going to be the easiest way you can earn Cathay Pacific Asia Miles since points earned in AMEX's program transfer to Cathay Pacific at a 1:1 ratio. This gives you a total of 10 AMEX credit cards to work with. AMEX also has very generous sign up bonuses ranging from 10,000 points to 100,000 points meaning you can easily pick up a significant amount of points just hitting the spend required for the sign up bonus.

Capital One Miles

Capital One Venture Miles (Personal Cards) and Capital One Spark Miles (Business Cards) both transfer to Cathay Pacific at a 4 to 3 ratio. Both families of Capital One cards features a 2 mile per $1 earning card meaning you can earn 1.5 Asia Miles on all purchases making this a solid choice for anyone looking to earn miles at a flat rate.

Marriott Bonvoy

Marriott Bonvoy is one of the best hotel programs for earning miles in 35+ airline loyalty programs thanks to their transfer ratio of 3:1 for the majority of their partners as well as the 15,000 point bonus you receive for every 60,000 points you transfer. Pair any Marriott Credit Card with Marriott Bonvoy Elite Status and you're looking at earning between 5.3 to 7.8 Asia Miles per $1 spent at Marriott hotels.

IHG Rewards Club

For those who love IHG Hotels, the IHG Rewards Club offers a solid transfer of 2:1 to Cathay Pacific. This means you will earn 2 Asia Miles per $1 spent at IHG hotels since IHG Rewards Club members earn 10 points per $1 as a base rate.

Best Membership Rewards Cards

Membership Rewards is going to be the best program for those looking to earn Asia Miles on everyday spend at a superb rate.

AMEX Gold Card

The AMEX Gold Card earns 4 points per $1 spent on both supermarket and restaurant purchases. It also features a sign up bonus ranging from 35,000 to 50,000 points after $3,000 spend.

AMEX Everyday Preferred

The Everyday Preferred is another great card for everyday purchases. It earns up to 4.5 points per $1 on supermarket purchases, 3 points on gas stations, and 1.5 points on all other purchases when you make at least 30 transactions in a statement.

AMEX Platinum Card

The Platinum Card is the best card for lounge access. Earn 5 points per $1 spend on airfare (includes Cathay Pacific) and gain access to Priority Pass lounges, Centurion Lounges, and Delta SkyClub Lounges when flying Delta.

Capital One Cards

Capital One doesn't have the most favorable transfer ratios, but they can still be a good choice for those looking to top off their account.

Capital One Venture Card

The Venture Card earns 2 miles per $1 spent on all purchases. As a promotion running until early 2020, this card also earn 10 miles per $1 spent on purchases which is equal to 7.5 Asia Miles per $1 spent when transferred.

Capital One Spark Visa

The Spark Visa Business Card earns 2 miles per $1 spent on all purchases for a solid 1.5 Asia Miles per $1 spent.

Marriott Bonvoy

Marriott is the best hotel loyalty programs when it comes to transferring earned points to airline partners thanks to their wonderful 3:1 ratio and bonus points for large transfers.

Marriott Bonvoy Boundless

The entry card for Marriott is the Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Card. It earns 6 points per $1 spent at Marriott hotels which is equal to 2 Asia Miles. It's a great card for anyone looking to earn miles spending directly at Marriott hotels. It also comes with an annual free night at any 30,000 point (or less) Marriott hotel.

Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant

The Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant Card is Marriott's luxury card. It earns 6 points per $1 at Marriott and 3 points per $1 on restaurants and airfare. It comes with slightly better free night good at any 50,000 point (or less) Marriott hotel and a $300 Marriott statement credit. It's been known to feature a 100,000 point sign up bonus as well which is equal to 38,333.

IHG Rewards Club

IHG is a solid choice for anyone that enjoys staying at IHG hotels that finds themselves frequently in need of some Asia Miles.

IHG Premier Card

The IHG Premier Card earns 10 points per $1 spent at IHG Hotels. Since it comes with IHG Platinum Elite Status you're looking at earning a total of 25 IHG Points per $1 spent at their hotels which comes out to being 5 Asia Miles after being transferred.
