Learn the details of the United Club Business Card, calculate how many miles you can earn, and calculate the cash value based on your spend. Compare the results side by side against any rewards card.
The United MileagePlus Club Business Card is the business version of the United MileagePlus Club Card. It offers the exact same perks and benefits such as bonus miles on airfare and a great earning rate for non-category purchases, United Club Membership, free checked bags, and status with both Hertz Rental Car and Hyatt Hotels. Authorized users of this business card will not earn any extra benefits beside earning extra United Miles.
The United Airlines MileagePlus Club Business Card has one bonus category which is for United purchases. There is no limit to the amount of miles you can earn with the card and there is no cap to the 'United purchases' category on this card. Below are the details of the Club Business Card's earning structure.
2x United Airlines
The United MileagePlus Club Business Card earns 2 MileagePlus Miles per $1 spent on United Airlines purchases. This includes United airline tickets (purchased directly with United), seat upgrades, in-flight food, beverages, Wi-Fi, baggage service charges and other United fees. This does not include United Cruises®, MileagePlus X, DIRECTV, and Merchandise Awards.
When it comes to earning United Miles, the co-branded cards are beat out by Chase's Ultimate Rewards Point earning cards since they transfer to United at a 1-to-1 ratio and earn 3x on travel purchases which includes airline. These cards consist of the Chase Ink Business Preferred Card and Chase Sapphire Reserve. It could be harder to justify adding another premium card if you can't make use of the perks and benefits, but the Reserve's benefits and earning structure goes hand-in-hand with any committed United customer.
All spending on the United MileagePlus Club Business Card outside of United Airline purchases will earn 1.5 MileagePlus Miles per $1 spent. This is an excellent rate and probably one of the best cards to earn United Miles through non-category spend!

The annual fee for the United MileagePlus Club Business Card is $450.
