JetBlue TrueBlue Points can be earned using major bank rewards programs by transferring the points earned in those programs directly to your TrueBlue account. This method can earn you more JetBlue Points than JetBlue's own credit cards across several bonus categories. Transferring is also an easy way to earn 40,000 to 80,000 TrueBlue Points using the sign up bonuses on partner credit cards.

Transfer Rewards Into JetBlue

JetBlue is a direct transfer partner of several programs. This allows you to earn points in other rewards programs and transfer them directly into your JetBlue TrueBlue account. This provides additional ways to earn miles and can get you closer to award travel with JetBlue. Membership Rewards

American Express Membership Rewards Points transfer to JetBlue TrueBlue at a 1:1 ratio. AMEX has 10 credit cards that earn these points giving you a very wide range of bonus categories to earn TrueBlue Points at a fast rate. Do note that AMEX charges a Excise Tax Offset Fee of $0.0006 per point to transfer points from their program to a U.S. airline frequent flyer program. This means transferring 10,000 points will cost you $6. While this is not a large fee, it can add up over time.

Ultimate Rewards

Chase Ultimate Rewards transfer to JetBlue at a wonderful 1:1 ratio. This opens a wide variety of bonus categories across several Chase credit cards to earn additional JetBlue Points. You can earn 5x points per $1 spent on rotating quarterly categories with the Chase Freedom Card or 3x on all travel purchases with the Chase Sapphire Reserve Card.

ThankYou Rewards

ThankYou Rewards transfer to JetBlue at a ratio of 5 ThankYou Points for 4 JetBlue Points. This allows you to use Citi's ThankYou credit cards to earn additional JetBlue points on categories such as dining, entertainment, and travel.

IHG Hotels

If you have a bucket of IHG Rewards Club Points but don't know what to do with them, you can transfer them to your JetBlue TrueBlue account at a 5:1 ratio. IHG Members earn 10 base points per $1 spent giving you 2 JetBlue Points per $1. IHG Spire Members using the IHG Premier Card can earn up to 30 IHG Points per $1 spent giving you 6 JetBlue Points per $1 making IHG one of the best hotel points for earning additional JetBlue points.

Marriott Hotels

Marriott Bonvoy transfers to JetBlue at a rate of 6 Marriott Points for 1 JetBlue Point. Marriott members earn base points at a rate of 10 points per $1 spent, so you're looking at 1.6 JetBlue Points per $1 spent staying at Marriott hotels. Marriott Titanium Members and higher using any of the available Marriott credit cards can earn up to 23.5 Marriott Points per $1 spent for a total of 3.9 JetBlue Points.

Marriott also offers 15,000 additional Marriott Bonvoy Points for every transfer of 60,000 points giving you an additional 2,500 JetBlue Points.

Earning With Partner Credit Cards

The best credit cards for earning JetBlue Points on airfare purchases is secured by the JetBlue Plus and JetBlue Business cards when purchasing airfare specifically with JetBlue. When purchasing non-JetBlue airfare, the AMEX Platinum Card (5x Membership Rewards Points) and Citi Prestige (5x ThankYou Points) are the best at 4 JetBlue Points per $1 spent once transferred.

Best Card For Dining

When it comes to dining out and restaurant purchases, the Citi Prestige (5x ThankYou Points) secures the #1 spot for earning the highest rate of 4x points once transferred. The AMEX Gold Card (4x Membership Rewards Points) comes in second with 3.2 JetBlue Points followed by the Chase Sapphire Reserve (3x Ultimate Rewards Points with an even 3 JetBlue Points once transferred.

Best Card For Travel (General)

If you're looking for a card that earns a solid amount of JetBlue Points on general travel purchases ranging from airfare to car rentals to rideshares, both the Chase Sapphire Reserve (3x Ultimate Rewards Points) and Chase Ink Business Preferred (3x Ultimate Rewards Points earns the highest amount of 3 JetBlue Points per $1 spent once transferred.
