Amazon has credit cards with Synchrony, Chase, and American Express. Depending on the card, the earning and redemption methods will vary.
Redeem Amazon Cash Back
As previously mentioned, Amazon has credit cards with Synchrony, Chase, and American Express. Depending on the card you have, your options will vary.
Redeem With Synchrony
Cash back earned with the Amazon Prime Store Card can only be applied to your purchases at checkout or directly to your statement when signed into your account. Both options have the same effect of shaving the cost off your overall charges with Amazon. This is your only option for the store card.
Redeem With Chase
Cash back earned with Chase Amazon Credit Cards are displayed as points. One cent ($0.01) is equal to one point. Points can be used to redeem purchases at Amazon.com. Points can also be redeemed for cash (starting at 2,000 points which is equal to $20), through an account statement credit, or electronic deposit into an eligible checking or savings account held by a financial institution located in the United States. Other redemption options include travel (flights, hotels, cruises, car rentals), gift cards, and more. Points earned with the Amazon Credit Card will not expire as long as the account is opened.
Redeem With AMEX
Cash back earned with the AMEX Amazon Credit Cards are earned under the Amazon Rewards Program. Cash back rewards are tracked as points and every 100 points earned in cash back rewards will equal $1. This means that one cent ($0.01) is equal to one point. You can redeem points for eligible purchases at Amazon.com, Amazon.com/Business or towards a charge on your statement.
Credit Card Rewards Calculators
Between Synchrony, Chase, and American Express, you have five credit cards you can use to earn rewards with Amazon. Synchrony features the store card which is only good at Amazon.com, while both Chase and AMEX offers credit cards that can be used worldwide to help you earn rewards on Amazon, Whole Food Stores, and all other purchases. Deciding between the cards depends on whether you plan on just using the card at Amazon or if you want to earn Amazon rewards for purchases outside of Amazon.
Amazon Credit Card Cash Back Calculators
You can click on any of the Amazon credit cards below to learn about the bonus categories, perks & benefits, standard sign up bonus, and fees of the card. Each Amazon credit card also has it's own Amazon cash back calculator. The calculator will calculate how much cash back you can earn and the cash value of the Amazon credit card based on your monthly/yearly spend, how much each card benefit is worth to you, and the fees of the card. You can compare the results side by side any credit card featured on the site. Any spend you enter into the credit card cash back calculator will carry over to all credit card calculators on the site, so there's no need to re-enter spend when jumping page to page.
Comparison Calculators features side by side comparisons of frequently compared credit cards or comparisons requested through our YouTube channel. These calculators are already set up so you can immediately start calculating total rewards as well as the cash value of the compared cards based on your monthly/yearly spend, how much the card benefits are worth to you, and the annual fees. Comparison Calculators does not allow you to change the designated cards being compared. If you want to compare credit cards outside of the comparisons listed below, I recommend searching for the credit card you want to compare and then using its calculator to compare it against anything featured on the site.
