Chase Freedom Unlimited Card
Calculate the cash value of the Chase Freedom Unlimited Card based on spend and compare those results side by side against any credit card.
The Chase Freedom Unlimited Card works wonders for anyone looking for an easy 1.5% cash back earning card. It also makes for a great back up card for miscellaneous categories that other Chase cards such as the Chase Freedom or any Ultimate Rewards Point earning credit card may not cover since cash back and points can be interchanged if you have a point earning Chase card. I would recommend picking this up if you're serious about earning cash back or points with Chase Bank.
The Chase Freedom Unlimited Card earns cash back at a flat rate per $1 spent. There is no limit to the amount of cash back you can earn spending on this card.
1.5% All Purchases
The Chase Freedom Unlimited Card is marketed as an unlimited 1.5% cash back card when in reality it's earns 1.5x Ultimate Rewards Points per $1 spent. That sets this card apart from other '1.5% cash back' cards as Ultimate Rewards Points can have more than a 1.5% return. Owners of the Chase Ink Business Preferred Card and Chase Sapphire Preferred Card will earn the 25% boost to the value of points redeemed on the Chase Travel Portal giving this card a return of 1.875%. You can take it a step farther with the luxury Chase Sapphire Reserve which earns a 50% boost giving the Chase Freedom Unlimited Card a return of 2.25% per $1 spent! As you can see, the ability to earn Chase Points and/or Chase cash back can provide lots of options. If you own any of those three Ultimate Rewards Point Cards, you'll even be able to transfer them to any of Chase's 10+ Ultimate Rewards Point Travel Partners which includes airlines such as British Airways and United Airlines as well as hotels such as Marriott and Hyatt.

The standard Chase Freedom Unlimited Card sign up bonus is $150 bonus (or 15,000 Ultimate Rewards Points) after you spend $500 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. Credit Card Fees
|Authorized User Fee|
|Foreign Transaction Fee|
There is no annual fee for the Chase Freedom Unlimited Card. You will always come out with a positive return when running everyday spend through the card.
Authorized User Fee
The Chase Freedom Unlimited Card does not charge an authorized user fee. I recommend adding friends and family to the card if you want to rack up cash back and Ultimate Rewards Points faster!
Foreign Transaction Fee
Unfortunately, the Chase Freedom Unlimited Card has a 3% foreign transaction fee. This fee will eat away the rewards at double the rate in which they are earned. Do not use this card for purchases outside of the United States!
You can use this rewards calculator to calculate how many points, miles, or cash back you can earn based on your spend per category. This calculator will also give you the dollar value of the card based on rewards earned and how much each benefit is worth to you minus the fees. You can click the Compare A Card button to compare this card against another card in the same calculator.
All category spend entered in the primary card's column will carry over to all credit card pages on the site so you don't have to re-enter the same information over again.
