The Ducks Unlimited Visa is one of the best gas station cards on the market thanks to its very high return per $1 spent. On top of that, it also earns a superb earning on sporting good store purchases. Purchases made on the Ducks Unlimited Visa also helps fund wetlands and conservation efforts which is great by itself.
The Ducks Unlimited Visa features two bonus categories which are gas station and sporting good store purchases. There is no limit to the amount of cash back you can earn spending in these two categories and no limit to the amount of cash back you can earn on the Ducks Unlimited Visa overall.
5% Gas Station
The Ducks Unlimited Visa earns 5% cash back per $1 spent on gas station purchases. This is one of the highest earning cards in the market thanks to the fact that it has no annual fee. If you're looking to earn a solid return on gas, this is the card to have. You can occasionally earn a 5% return on gas with the quarterly rotating categories of the Discover IT and Chase Freedom cards. You can even earn the equivalent of 10% cash back on the Discover IT during your first year with there Discover Cashback Match benefit.
5% Sporting Goods Store
The Ducks Unlimited Visa earns 5% cash back per $1 spent on sporting goods stores. This includes stores like Dicks Sporting Goods, REI, Dunham's Sports, and Bass Pro Shops. Earning 5% cash back in these stores on card with no annual fee is superb. If you find yourself shopping at these types of stores, you will want the Ducks Unlimited Visa in your wallet.
All purchases made on the Ducks Unlimited Visa outside of gas station and sporting goods store purchases will earn 1% cash back. This is an extremely low return that can be placed on a higher earning flat rate cash back card. There are tons of cards that fit this bill, but some of the more popular cards consist of the 3% cash back earning Alliant CashBack Visa, 2% cash back earning PayPal Cashback Mastercard, and 2% cash earning Citi Double Cash.

Authorized User Fee
There is no authorized user fee for the Ducks Unlimited Visa. If you have friends and family that spend in the categories of gas and sporting goods stores, you will want to add them to your card to earn even more cash back.
Foreign Transaction Fee
The Ducks Unlimited Visa has a 3% foreign transaction fee. This means you will be charged $0.03 cents per $1 spent outside of the United States. The categories on the card are not specific to the United States so you will still earn a positive net of 2% cash back using it for gas and sporting goods outside of the United States, but there are better cards with no foreign transaction fees that you can use when traveling internationally.
