Virgin Australia has two credit cards that earn Velocity Points, both offered by American Express. If you're looking to earn a solid amount of points across your purchases, both cards are great options.

Earns 1.75X Velocity Points on Virgin products and services and 0.75X on all other purchases. Card offers purchase coverage. No annual fee.
Earns 2.25X Velocity Points on Virgin products and services and 1.25X on all other purchases. Card benefits include an annual complimentary domestic return flight, Virgin Australia Lounge passes, and travel/purchase insurance.

Earning Velocity Points with AU Credit Cards

Outside of using the two Velocity credit cards that Virgin Australia offers through American Express, you can also earn Velocity Points by using credit cards offered by transfer partners. This means you can use transfer partner credit cards to build up points and then transfer those earned points directly to your Velocity account.
