Fees
Annual Fee
The AMEX Business Platinum Card has a £650 annual fee.
If you can make use of the £650 in annual credits, you're good to go. But even if you can't make use of all the credits, the card offers more than £650 in annual value.
If you travel enough, the lounge access, hotel benefits, complimentary status with hotels and car rental companies, and travel insurance more than makes up for the fee.
Authorized User Fee
One complimentary Business Platinum Employee Card can be added to the account. This user will have access to the same benefits as the main cardholder.
There is no cost to add Business Gold Employee Cards to the account which allows employees to earn points on their day-to-day business spending. You can add up to 19 Business Gold Employee Cards to the account.
Non-sterling Purchase Fee
The AMEX Business Platinum Card has a non-sterling purchase fee of 2.99%. This means that you will be penalized when using this card to make purchases that are not in Pound sterling.
