Best Credit Cards For Hilton Honors Points

Want to know which credit cards are the best for earning Hilton Honors Points? Enter your monthly/yearly spend across several categories and find out!

If you're looking to build your Hilton Honors Points on everyday spend, your best options are going to be Virgin Atlantic and American Express Membership Rewards credit cards.

Virgin Atlantic Flying Club

Virgin Atlantic Virgin Points (formally know as Flying Club Miles) can be transferred to Hilton Honors at a 2:3 ratio. This means that every 2,000 Virgin Points transferred will give you 3,000 Hilton Honors Points. Virgin Atlantic offers the Virgin Atlantic Reward Card which can earn you between 1.125x and 2.25x Hilton Points per £1 spent and Virgin Atlantic Reward+ Card which can earn you between 2.25x and 4.5x Hilton Points per £1 spent.

American Express Membership Rewards

The American Express Membership Rewards program is probably going to be the best option if you're really looking to earn Hilton Honors Points. AMEX Points transfers to the Hilton Honors program at a 1:2 ratio meaning every 1,000 AMEX Points you transfer will give you 2,000 Hilton Honors Points. This means that all of the AMEX cards will earn you a minimum of 2 points per £1 spent on non-category purchases. Cards like the American Express Preferred Rewards Gold Card can earn you even more points thanks to it's bonus points on airfare and international spending.

Credit Card Search Types

Best Cards By Estimated Return - Get a list of credit cards that gives you the best return. This is based on spend, currency value, annual credits, and annual fees.

Best Cards By Total Points - Get a list of credit cards that earns you the most points/miles based on spend. Currency value, annual credits, and annual fees are not factored into this search. Great for those who get waived fees (i.e. military).

After your results are displayed, I recommend clicking on a card's Rewards Calculator. This allows you to come up with a more accurate number by adjusting the cash value of perk, being able to calculate spend bonuses & other savings, add in sign up bonuses, toggle annual fees and authorized user fees, and much more. You'll also be able to compare the results side by side any credit card featured on the site!

Some credit cards may appear in this list more than once if there's more than one path to transferring rewards. Credit cards with negative returns may also appear in this list, but be sure to consider the perks of the card before canceling it out as an option!
