Chase offers the only Aeroplan credit card available in the United States. If you're looking for benefits when flying Air Canada, this is one of the best cards to have.

The Air Canada Aeroplan program is a transfer partner of several major rewards programs. This means that you can build points with partners and transfer them directly to your Aeroplan account.
Best Credit Cards For Earning Aeroplan Points
You can credit cards offered by Aeroplan's transfer partners to build up rewards. This is done by running spend through partner cards and then transferring those earned points directly to your Aeroplan account.
While there's a good amount of credit card options you can use, the three best options will be credit cards from American Express Membership Rewards, Capital One Venture & Spark Rewards, and Marriott Bonvoy.
American Express Membership Rewards
American Express has a total of 10 credit cards that you can use to earn Membership Rewards Points. These points can be transferred to your Aeroplan account at a 1:1 ratio meaning that 1,000 Membership Rewards Points will give you 1,000 Aeroplan Points.
The Membership Rewards Program will be the best option when it comes to easily building your points with credit card spending.
Capital One Spark & Venture Rewards
Capital One Miles earned in the Venture Rewards and Spark Rewards programs can be transferred to Aeroplan at a 4:3 ratio. This means that transferring 2,000 Capital One Miles will give you 1,500 Aeroplan Points.
The ratio isn't as good as the Membership Rewards program, but the credit cards that Capital One offers in the Venture Rewards and Spark Rewards program are flat-rate earning cards. There's no worrying about bonus categories or building up a combination of multiple cards to maximize your spending.
Chase Ultimate Rewards
Along with the Chase Aeroplan Card, you can also earn Aeroplan Points using any of Chase's Ultimate Rewards credit cards. Chase offers two Sapphire Cards and one Ink Business Card that allows you to transfer points directly to Aeroplan.
Chase's cash back credit cards also earn Ultimate Rewards Points. These points can be converted to cash back at a value of 1 cent per point.
You can also transfer the points earned with Chase's cash back credit cards to Chase Ultimate Rewards credit cards. This then allows you to transfer those points to Aeroplan opening up four additional credit cards to build your points sky high.
Marriott Bonvoy is the best hotel rewards program if you're looking to build transferable to Aeroplan. Marriott Bonvoy Points can be transferred to Aeroplan at a 3:1 ratio meaning that 3,000 Marriott Bonvoy Points transferred to Aeroplan will give you 1,000 Aeroplan Points.
On top of that, for every 60,000 Marriott Bonvoy Points you transfer, you will receive a bonus 15,000 Marriott Bonvoy Points. This comes out to being an additional 5,000 Aeroplan Points.
With Marriott, you'll earn 10 base points on your stays, up to 7.5 additional points based on your Marriott Bonvoy elite status, and 6 points using most of their co-branded credit cards. This is up 23.5 points per $1 spent at Marriott brand hotels which comes out to a whopping 7.83 Aeroplan Points when transferred.
