United States Asiana Credit Card Calculators

Bank of America holds both of the Asiana credit cards available to those in the United States. The personal Asiana credit card offers solid earnings on Asiana airfare and several annual bonuses including Asiana Lounge passes, extra miles, and a $100 rebate. The Asiana Business credit card offers a lower return on Asiana airfare, but offers two annual $100 rebates instead. Both cards are decent choices for those flying Asiana Airlines.

Redeeming Rewards & Cash Value

Asiana Miles are used to book award flights with Asiana Airlines, Star Alliance, and other airline partners. If you're based out of the Korea area, you can also use them in the Mileage Mall (services are offered in Korean). Outside of that, you're pretty much limited on how you can use them.

When booking flights on Asiana Airlines, it was very easy to get an average value of around 1.5 cents each on most flights. For example, in December most roundtrip flights between New York (JFK) and Seoul (ICN) are listed at 70,000 Asiana Miles (35k each way) plus around $300 in taxes/fees.

The cash prices for flights between these two cities range between $1,200 USD and $1,700 USD. This gives your Asiana Miles a range of between 1.28 cents and 2 cents in value depending on which dates you fly out. Testing flights from other US cities to various destinations proved to give around the same values, but a little lower at times.
