The Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card is premium credit card that earns 3 SkyMiles per $1 spent on Delta Airlines purchases and 1 SkyMile per $1 spent on all other purchases.

The most known benefit of the Reserve family of Delta credit cards is the First Class companion pass which allows a companion to travel along with you on a First Class flight for just the cost of taxes and fees. This benefit alone typically offers hundreds in value and can be worth more than the annual fee itself.

Along with that benefit, you'll also receive complimentary Delta SkyClub access, Centurion Lounge access, upgrade priority over non-cardholders with the same Delta Medallion status as you, and all the benefits of the Delta SkyMiles® Platinum Business American Express Card (with some being enhanced).

Overall, the Delta SkyMiles Reserve Business AMEX Card is a great option if you don't already have a card that offers lounge access or if you're looking to spend your way towards a higher Medallion Status level. You can also consider picking it up for the First Class companion pass alone if you want save money flying first class domestically with a companion once per year.

Card Benefits

The Delta Reserve Business Card features the following card benefits:

First Class Companion Pass

Starting on your first Delta Reserve Business Card anniversary, and every card anniversary from then on, you'll receive a First Class Companion Pass. This pass allows a companion to travel along with you on a First Class booking for just the cost of taxes and fees.

The pass can be used to travel between the 48 contiguous states. If you live in a non-contiguous state, it's good for travel to the contiguous states.

The Companion Pass can also be used to travel in lower classes such as economy, but that would heavily devalue this benefit as the price difference between both classes are quite large for most flights.

If you fly First Class domestically with a companion at least once a year, this benefit alone could be worth picking up the card due to how much you would save on the companion's ticket.

Delta SkyClub Membership

As a Delta Reserve Business Card member, you will receive complimentary Delta SkyClub access. All additional Reserve Card members on the card will also receive complimentary access.

In order to have access, Cardmembers must be traveling on a same-day Delta-marketed or -operated flight.

If you or an additional card member are traveling on a Delta partner flight, you'll be charged a reduced fee of $39 per person, per location on the Reserve Card.

2 Delta SkyClub One-Time Guest Passes

Every year, you'll receive two one-time guest passes for complimentary access to the Delta SkyClub annually. These passes are good for one year and guests using the pass must be traveling on a same-day Delta-marketed or -operated flight.

Centurion Lounge Access

As a Delta Reserve Business Card member, you will receive complimentary access to Centurion Lounges when flying on a same-day Delta-marketed or -operated flight. Your flight must also be booked with a U.S. issued American Express.

You can bring up to two guests for $50 per guest, per location. Additional Reserve Card members will have complimentary access under the same qualifications as the Primary cardholder.

If you want access to Centurion Lounges no matter which airline you fly, you'll want to consider the The Platinum Card® from American Express and The Business Platinum Card® from American Express.

Complimentary Upgrades & Upgrade Priority

As a Delta Reserve Business Card member, you'll receive complimentary upgrades and upgrade priority.

This means you'll have a better chance to receive complimentary upgrades over non-cardholders with the same Medallion level as you.

When you use the Delta Reserve Business Card to pay for a Global Entry ($100) or TSA PreCheck ($80) application, you receive up to a $100 credit towards the application fee.

TSA PreCheck is for expedited screening through TSA checkpoints while Global Entry is for speeding through customs when re-entering the states. Global Entry also grants TSA PreCheck if approved.

With the Medallion Qualification Dollar requirement waived, you'll only need to worry about meeting the Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs) or Medallion Qualification Segments (MQSs) for the calendar year in which the waiver was earned.
