JetBlue has a good amount of partners that you can use to add some extra JetBlue Points to your TrueBlue account. This includes booking travel with airline, hotel, and car rental programs as well as shopping with Amazon or through the JetBlue TrueBlue Shopping Portal. You can also earn some extra points booking all your travel together using JetBlue Vacations.
Flying JetBlue Airways
JetBlue TrueBlue Points are primarily earned flying JetBlue Airways. When flying JetBlue you will earn points based on the ticket cost, the fare booked, whether you booked through JetBlue or a third party, and JetBlue Mosaic Status. You can also earn additional JetBlue Points on top of that by using JetBlue Credit Cards. This gives you the ability to earn up to 15 JetBlue Points per $1 spent on JetBlue flights which is pretty fantastic.
You can check our Calculating JetBlue Points On Flights write-up to get the full details as well as calculate how many points you can earn based on ticket cost, fare booked, elite status, and JetBlue credit cards.
JetBlue Airline Partners
JetBlue Points can be earned flying several airline partners which are:
The amount of JetBlue Points you earn will vary by airline, but it will typically be based on the booking class and distance flown. You can book all of these airlines via jetblue.com. When searching for flights, these airlines will be included in the results. You can also earn JetBlue Points by entering your JetBlue TrueBlue membership number when booking your flight directly with these airlines.
JetBlue Hotel Partners
You can stock up on JetBlue Points using IHG and Marriott. Both programs allow you to either transfer your earned hotel rewards points directly to your JetBlue account or set up the earning preferences where you earn JetBlue Points on every stay. With IHG, both methods will earn you the same amount of points whereas with Marriott you'll want to earn points as normal and transfer them to JetBlue when needed.

JetBlue & Amazon
JetBlue Points can be earned shopping Amazon.com while in-flight. You can earn 3 JetBlue Points per $1 spent on select purchases while onboard your JetBlue flights via Fly-Fi. You'll need to be signed into Fly-Fi using the name and email associated with your JetBlue TrueBlue account. Do note that you will need to shop through Amazon.com and not through the Amazon mobile app.
A good way to approach this would be to create a wish list through Amazon.com and wait until you're flying with JetBlue to make your purchases.
The JetBlue TrueBlue Shopping Portal allows you to earn JetBlue Points shopping online with top retailers. Depending on the retailer, you'll earn a certain amount of JetBlue Points per $1 spent. This is one of the easiest ways to earn a great amount of JetBlue Points shopping online.
The American Express Membership Rewards Program is a direct transfer partner of JetBlue Airways. If you have an AMEX Membership Rewards credit card, you can earn AMEX Points shopping online with Rakuten Rewards. You can then transfer those earned Membership Rewards Points to your JetBlue account. I recommend reading up on using Rakuten and AMEX Membership Rewards.
If you really want to maximize on your JetBlue Points, you can book your entire trip using JetBlue Vacations. You can book your JetBlue flight, hotel, car, and more all in one place. Booking through the vacation portal will also grant you some additional benefits at some hotels such as VIP treatment. The portal features a wide range of hotel brands including:
- Disneyland Resort
- RIU Hotels and Resorts
- Universal Orlando Resort
- Walt Disney World
Do note that if you have the JetBlue Plus or JetBlue Business Card, you'll earn 6 JetBlue Points per $1 spent since this is a JetBlue purchase!
