The amount of Miles and More miles you earn will depend on the airline. It will either be according to fare booked or according to the distance flown and the booking class. For the airlines that book by fare, you will earn miles based on the fare in Euros, frequent flyer status, and the operating airline. For flights that are based on distance and booking class, European flights will earn at a flat rate according to booking class while intercontinental flights will be booking class and distance flown.

Miles & More Hotel Partners

You can earn Miles & More Award Miles booking with a large handful of hotel partners. This will either be by opting in to receive Miles and More Miles directly with each stay through the hotel reward program or by transferring your earned hotel loyalty points to the Miles & More program. In most cases, transferring points will be the better option but you'll want to weigh both options.

You can also earn Miles & More Award Miles booking through the Lufthansa Hotels and Cars Portal which allows you search more than 300,000 hotels worldwide. You can book car rentals through the portal as well.

Miles & More Rental Car Partners

Miles & More members can earn miles booking car rentals with all of the top car rental agencies. These rentals will earn you a certain amount of miles per rental or per day. Some car rental companies will require you to go through websites specific to the country you're renting the car in so be aware of any foreign transaction fees that your rewards cards may have.

You can also easily earn Miles & More Award Miles booking through the Hotels and Cars Portal which offers rentals from all the top companies such as Avis, Hertz, Enterprise, and more.
