If you're looking to earn some sweet returns on shipping, you have a few options that stand above the rest. Earning great rewards on shipping will come from business credit cards and you'll usually have to spend heavy to make the best cards worth it.

Leading the pack is going to be the American Express Business Gold Card which can earn 4x Membership Rewards Points. These points can be worth as much as 2+ cents each when transferred to AMEX's airline and hotel partners, but can also easily be redeemed for 1.3 cent toward travel as well.

Next is the Chase Ink Business Preferred which has a smaller price tag than the AMEX Gold, but still offers a solid return earning you 3x Ultimate Rewards Points in which points are easily redeemable for 1.25 cents each or can be transferred to Chase's partners for up to 2+ cents in value. Whether this card is better than the AMEX Gold will depend on how much you value the rewards offered by each card (hint: use the credit card calculators).

If you want to earn Hilton Honors Points, the Hilton Business Card is a great choice. It also features 7 additional categories which can be useful for any business.

If you're looking for cash back, your best bet in terms of a business card will be the no-annual fee American Express Blue Business Cash Card which earns 2% cash back on the first $50,000 in purchases during the year. If you want unlimited cash back, you can pick up any of the standard 2% cash back personal cards such as the Citi Double Cash or PayPal CashBack Mastercard.

Adjust Transferable Points

Some rewards programs allow you to transfer your earned points to airline, hotel, and other loyalty programs. These programs will generally have higher point values when doing such. Since these matter so much when choosing a credit card, you can enter your own point value for these programs to include in the calculations. You can set any of the currencies listed below to 0 to calculate based on the non-transfer value (in which most are 1 cent per point with the exception of Chase's 1.25/1.5 cent redemptions).
When transferring to other programs, you should be able to get 1 to 2 cents in value for most of the programs listed below, so I defaulted most to a low average of 1.5 cents. You can click on the to learn more about the value of the currency (opens in a new tab/window).
