Hilton Honors Points can be transferred to over 40 airlines as well as the Amtrak Guest Rewards program. This is best used to top off your allows you to easily top off your frequent flyer or rail rewards accounts in the case that you're short a few rewards of a redemption.
For most partners, your Hilton Honors Points will transfer at a 10:1 or 10:1.5 ratio meaning you'll earn 1,000 or 1,500 miles for every 10,000 Hilton Honors Points you transfer. While this sounds like a terrible ratio compared to other hotel rewards programs, you have to keep in mind that you can earn as many as 34 Hilton Honors Points per $1 spent at Hilton Properties just by having the Hilton Honors Aspire Card. So while it is not the best, it's fairly easy to earn Hilton Honors Points.
