Marriott's credit cards offer great benefits such as annual free nights, complimentary elite status, elite nights towards status, and the ability to earn a great amount of points on Marriott spend. If you frequently stay at Marriott, I recommend having at least one Marriott credit card.

Marriott Credit Cards

Marriott has a total of four available credit cards that you can apply for. Two cards are offered by Chase and two cards are offered by American Express.

Chase Marriott Bonvoy Bold Card

The Chase Marriott Bonvoy Bold Card is Marriott's no-annual fee credit card. It offers the lowest earning rate on Marriott spend out of all available Marriott credit cards. Even with no annual fee, the card still offers 15 elite night credits towards Marriott Bonvoy Status and thus grants complimentary Marriott Silver Elite Status.

Chase Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Card

The Chase Marriott Bonvoy Boundless Card is the entry-level Marriott credit card. It's a great card specifically for Marriott spending and it offers 15 elite night credits and an annual free night good at any Marriott property that costs 35k Marriott Bonvoy Points or lower. The free night itself pretty much covers the annual fee of the card.

Marriott Bonvoy Business AMEX Card

The Marriott Bonvoy Business AMEX Card is Marriott's business card. It offers the standard 6x on Marriott spend, but it features several additional categories which includes restaurant, gas, wireless phone, and shipping purchases. It also grants the same 15 elite night credits and 35k annual free night that most Marriott credit cards offer.

Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant AMEX Card

The Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant AMEX Card is Marriott's premium travel card. It has a $450 annual fee, but it offers a $300 Marriott Statement Credit which knocks the true fee to $150. The Brilliant Card then offers an annual free night good at Marriott hotels that cost up to 50,000 points in which you should easily be able to get more than $150 in value from. Lots of other perks are loaded into the card as well such as Global Entry/TSA PreCheck credit, property credits, complimentary Gold Elite status, and much more.

Discontinued Marriott Credit Cards

The Marriott Bonvoy Program has went through several changes in the past few years with the merger of the Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) program. The cards listed below are no longer available to new applicants. It is possible to product change to some of these cards by contacting Chase or American Express.

Chase Marriott Bonvoy Premier Plus Business Card

The Marriott Bonvoy Premier Plus Business Card is a business card offered by Chase. This card was closed to new applicants on February 13th, 2019 after the Marriott Rewards Program fully converted to the Marriott Bonvoy program. It's similar to the Marriott Bonvoy Business AMEX Card, but offers a few additional 4x categories such as Internet and cable services.

Chase Ritz-Carlton Card

The Ritz-Carlton Credit Card is the original premium Marriott credit card offered by Chase. It's somewhat similar to the Marriott Brilliant AMEX Card, but it offers some useful benefits specific to Ritz-Carlton such as Club Level upgrades. The card was closed to new applicants July 26th, 2018.
