Perks & Benefits

The Capital One Walmart Rewards Mastercard doesn't feature any perks or benefits specific to it being a Walmart credit card. You'll receive the usually great benefits of it being a Capital One Card such as access to their easy to use app and website, security alerts, and the ability to lock your card with a few taps.

Sign Up Bonus

While the sign up bonus does change from time to time, the current standard sign up bonus for the Walmart Rewards Mastercard is the ability to earn 5% cash back in Walmart stores for the first 12 months when you use your Capital One Walmart Rewards Card with Walmart Pay. Walmart Pay is a mobile wallet that allows you to purchase items with your phone using a stored credit, debit, or gift card.

Annual Fee

The Capital One Walmart Mastercard has no annual fee. This means you will always earn a positive return when running spend through the card.

Authorized User Fee

There is no fee to add authorized users to the Capital One Walmart Rewards Mastercard. If you have friends or family that shops at Walmart, I highly recommend adding them to the card to earn Walmart Rewards Points faster.

Foreign Transaction Fee

The Capital One Walmart Mastercard does not have a foreign transaction fee which is great, but considering the card earns at U.S. and Puerto Rica based stores, it will not get you much more than 1% when used elsewhere. You're better off picking up and of Capital One's other cash back or miles earning cards for international travel and spending.

Rewards Calculator

You can use the rewards calculator to calculate how many points, miles, or cash back you can earn based on your spend per category. This calculator will also give you the dollar value of the card based on the value of the rewards earned and how much each benefit is worth to you, minus the annual fees. You can click the Compare A Card button to compare this card side by side any other card featured on the site within the same calculator.

Note! All category spend entered in the primary card's column (first column when comparing cards) will carry over to all credit card calculators on the site. This means you will not have to re-enter the same information again and again when browsing during the session.
