Points earned in the Citi Rewards (Australia) program can be transferred to various airline partners and retail partners. Which partners you can transfer to and the ratio in which you can transfer your points will depend on which Citi Rewards credit card you own.

Here are the three credit cards that fall under the Citi Rewards program:

Credit Card Card Details
  • Earn 3 Citi Rewards points per $1 spent on International spend made overseas or online with a merchant that is based overseas.
  • Earn 3 Citi Rewards points per $1 spent on domestic purchases made directly with major airlines, hotels chains, and restaurants in Australia.
  • Earn 2 Citi Rewards points per $1 spent on domestic purchases made with major supermarkets, petrol outlets, and national retailers.
  • Earn 1 Citi Rewards point per $1 spent on all other domestic spend including Citi PayAll payments.
  • 4th hotel night free when booking four consecutive nights.
  • Complimentary Priority Pass for you and one guest.
  • One complimentary luxury transfer per year up to the value of $100.
  • International travel insurance and mobile phone insurance.
  • $700 annual fee
  • Earn 2 Citi Rewards points per $1 spent on eligible online spend and on international spend made overseas or online.
  • Earn 1 Citi Rewards point per $1 spent on all other eligible domestic spend.
  • Two airport lounge visits every year with complimentary Priority Pass membership.
  • International travel insurance and mobile phone insurance.
  • $150 annual fee if certain criteria is met, otherwise $300.
  • Earn 1 Citi Rewards point per eligible $1 spent on domestic spend, capped at $10,000 spend per statement period.
  • Earn 1 Citi Rewards point per eligible $1 spent on international spend made overseas or online with a merchant based overseas, uncapped.
  • International travel insurance and mobile phone insurance.
  • $149 annual fee.

Citi Rewards Card

The Citi Rewards Card features both the lowest transfer ratios and lowest earning rates when compared to the other available cards in the family. With the card maxing out at 1 Citi Rewards point per $1 spent, you will not earn much in terms of rewards transferrable to Citi's partners.

Citi Qantas

If you are participating in the Citi Qantas Rewards program, you will not be able to transfer points to Citi Australia's partners. Points earned with the Citi Prestige Qantas and Citi Premier Qantas gets deposited directly into your Qantas Frequent Flyer account.

This means you'll have to choose if you want the flexibility of the Citi Rewards program or if you want to earn Qantas points.

  • $175 annual fee if certain criteria is met, otherwise $300
