AAdvantage Executive Card
Calculate how many AAdvantage Miles you can earn and the cash value of the Executive Card based on monthly/yearly spend, card benefits, and the fee.
The Citi Executive Card is American Airlines luxury premium card. It comes equipped with several travel perks and offers so good benefits when traveling with American Airlines. The Executive Card is one of the only premium luxury cards next to both the Delta SkyMiles Reserve and Delta SkyMiles Business Reserve cards which offer similar perks but specific to Delta Airlines.
Bonus Categories
The Citi Executive Card features one bonus category which is American Airlines. There is no limit to the amount of AAdvantage miles you can earn with this card. American Airlines AAdvantage miles will not expire provided that once every 18 months you earn or redeem miles on American Airlines, an affiliated carrier, or with an American Airlines AAdvantage participant.
2x American Airlines
The Citi Executive Card earns 2 AAdvantage Miles for every dollar spent on American Airline purchases. This is a common rate across all of the American Airline great cards except for the Citi Gold Card which earns 1x. There's not an ability to earn at a higher rate so you will have to choose which AAdvantage credit card has the most perks that you enjoy.
1x Non-Category
The Citi Executive Card earns 1 AAdvantage Miles per dollar spend on all non-American Airline purchases. A better return can be obtained from using cards such as the Capital One Quicksilver or Citi Double Cash, but if you're looking to earn AAdvantage Miles, this is the highest rate for non-category purchases.
