Sign Up Bonus (SUB)

The standard Bank of America Alaska Airlines Card sign up bonus is 30,000 bonus miles plus the Alaska Famous Companion Fare after spending $1,000 within the first 90 days of account opening.

Often, Alaska will bump up the amount of miles to 40,000 with a slightly higher spend goal of $2,000 within the first 90 days of account opening.

Annual Fee

The annual fee for the Alaska Airlines Card is $75. If you typically have to pay for checked bags, this card will pay for itself in a few trips. In addition to the free checked bags, you'll also be earning an annual companion pass and have the ability to save on lounge passes and in-flight purchases. In my opinion, the card is worth the fee if you use the benefits.

Authorized User Fee

The Alaska Airlines Card has an authorized user fee of $0. If you're looking to build your Alaska Miles, I'd recommend adding friends and/or family as authorized users of your Alaska Airlines Card.

Foreign Transaction Fee

The foreign transaction fee for the Alaska Airlines Card is 0%. This means you can use Alaska Card out of country to earn Alaska Miles and not be penalized with additional fees.
