There is no limit to the amount of miles you can earn with Hawaiian Miles you can earn running spend through this card. Below are the details of each category present on the Hawaiian Airlines Business Card.
3x Hawaiian Airlines
The Hawaiian Airlines Business card earns 3 Hawaiian Miles per $1 spent on purchases made directly with Hawaiian Airlines. This does not include any Duty Free purchases made with the airline. This is equal to a 3% return if you peg Hawaiian Miles at 1 cent each. This is a great return if you plan on flying primarily with Hawaiian Airlines. If not, you're better off looking at a card that could possibly cover multiple airlines such as the Barclay Uber Card which earns 3% cash back on airfare purchases or the Citi ThankYou Premier which earns 3x ThankYou Points (3% return) on any travel related purchases!
2x Gas Station
Gas station purchases made on the Hawaiian Airlines Business Card will earn 2 Hawaiian Miles per $1 spent. This will apply to merchants whose primary purpose is to sell gasoline which includes places such as Hess, Mobil, BP, and Speedway. Double Hawaiian Miles is equal to a 2% return at a rate of 1 cent per mile. This is a good rate for anyone looking to build their miles with the airline. Hawaiian isn't the only airline that offers double miles on gas. The JetBlue Business Card, United Business MileagePlus Explorer Card, and American Airlines Platinum Select Business Card are just some of the other business reward cards that offer 2x miles per dollar on gas station purchases.
Using the Hawaiian Airlines Business Card to dine out will earn 2 Hawaiian Miles per $1 spent. Both fast food and fine dining establishments fall under this category. It's a great category to earn additional miles considering it's a common category and could be very beneficial in earning a great deal of points if you add authorized users. Both the JetBlue Business Card and United Business MileagePlus Explorer Card also earn double miles in their respective frequent flyer programs.
2x Office Supply Stores
The Hawaiian Airlines Business credit card earns 2 Hawaiian Miles per $1 spent. This bonus will apply to merchants that focus on the selling of office supplies (e.g. Office Max, Office Depot, Staples). This can be a big category for business and the double miles offered can be great for building Hawaiian Miles. There are a few other cards that offer 2x miles on office supply store purchases including the Barclay Aviator Business Card, Barclay JetBlue Card, and the Chase United Explorer Business Card.
Any purchases outside of the categories listed above will earn you 1 Hawaiian Miles per $1 spent. This is a low return of 1% and should be placed on a card that at least offers a 1.5% return. You can grab up a card such as the Chase Freedom Unlimited Card or you can get a rewards card that transfers points at a 1:1 ratio such as any Membership Reward Point earning credit cards.
Perks and Benefits
There are two main benefits for holding the Hawaiian Airlines Business Card. Those benefits are earning 40k bonus miles based on spend and the ability to have fees waived for sharing miles. Unlike the Hawaiian Mastercard, the business card does not offer the First Checked Bag Free perk or $100 annual discount on companion ticket.
Spending $50,000 on the Hawaiian Airlines Business Card will net you 20,000 bonus Hawaiian Miles. Once you spend $100,000 or more on the card, you will earn you an additional 20,000 bonus Hawaiian Miles for a total of 40,000 bonus miles (worth about $400). If this card is intended on being used for business expenses, this is a very reachable goal. Especially if employee cards are added to the account to assist in running spend through the business card.

The fee that is normally charged to send and receive Hawaiian Miles from friends and family will be waived for Hawaiian Airlines Business credit card holders. Accounts can receive Hawaiian Miles up to a maximum of ten times per calendar year. Since this is a business card, this perk will not be as important as it would be for a personal cardholder, but it's nice to know that miles from other entities can still be shared with the primary cardholders account.
