United has more than 10 direct transfer partners you can use to add miles to your United MileagePlus account. This is the easiest and fastest way to beef up your United Miles using points earned from transfer partner credit cards.
United Transfer Partners
United Airlines is a direct transfer partner of several rewards programs. This means you can earn points in the partnering programs listed below and transfer them directly into your United Mileage Plus account. Enter any amount of United Miles in the field below to see the amount of rewards needed to equal the value you specified.
Accor Points earned in the ALL - Accor Live Limitless program can be transferred to United Miles at a 2:1 ratio. You can also set your earning preference with Accor to earn United Miles directly which comes out to the same as transferring them. If you want to have more flexibility, I recommend earning Accor Points as normal. This allows you to transfer your earned points to United or any other Accor Transfer Partner.
Chase Ultimate Rewards
Ultimate Rewards transfer to United at a 1 to 1 ratio making it easy to build United Miles using Chase's line up of Ultimate Rewards Credit Cards. If you own at least one Ultimate Rewards Credit Card, you can also earn points using Chase Cash Back Credit Cards. These cards are best credit cards for earning United Miles.
Choice Privileges Points can be transferred to United at a 5:1 ratio. Choice members earn 10 base points per $1 spent at Choice Hotels which comes out to 2 United Miles when transferred.
Choice Points To United
You will need to link your United MileagePlus account to your Choice Privileges through the Choice Rewards Exchange page. Once this is done, you'll be able to easily move points to your United account.
Drury Rewards Points can be transferred to United at a 5:1 ratio which is great for anyone staying at Drury that needs to top off their United balance.
Drury Points To United
You can transfer your Drury Rewards Points using the following steps:
- Head to druryhotels.com.
- Click on My Account.
- You'll see Account Selection in the center of the screen. Select Redeem Points.
- Scroll down and click the Airline Miles option.
- Select United MileagePlus.
- Select how many miles you want to transfer, enter your United MileagePlus number and hit Submit.
Do note that transferring Drury Rewards Points to United Miles will take 4 to 6 weeks.
Hertz Car Rental
Hertz Gold Plus Rewards Points can be transferred to United at a 6:5 ratio. This means you'll earn 500 United Miles for every 600 Hertz Points you transfer. While this is a great transfer ratio, be aware that Hertz Points typically has very good value when it comes to using them for free rentals.
Hertz Points To United
You can transfer your Hertz Gold Plus Rewards Points directly through hertz.com by following these steps:
- Log in at hertz.com.
- Click on My Account > Use My Points.
- Select Exchange My Points.
- Complete the form and hit Submit.
Do note that you cannot transfer points from another members account and then use those points towards your personal Frequent Flyer account.
Hilton Honors Points can be transferred to United at a 10:1 ratio. This means that every 10,000 Hilton Honors Points you transfer will give you 1,000 United Miles. You will not earn a ton of United Miles with this transfer, but it can be useful for topping off your United account.
Hilton Points To United
In order to transfer Hilton Points to United, you will need to add United Airlines to your list of frequent flyer account under your Hilton Profile Preferences. Once you do that, you can transfer your Hilton Points to United miles using these steps:
- Head to the Hilton Exchange Points page.
- Sign into your Hilton Honors account.
- Select Use Points To Get Miles.
- Select United Airlines from the list of transfer partners.
- Select how many Hilton Honors Points you want to transfer to United.
- Click Next.
- Review the information and confirm the transfer.
Hyatt Points can be transferred to United at a 2.5:1 ratio. This means that every 2,500 Hyatt Points you transfer will give you 1,000 United Miles. Hyatt Points are earned at a base rate of 5 points per $1 spent which equals 2 United Miles when transferred. Hyatt offers a 5,000 miles bonus for every 50,000 points you transfer which can be useful if you're transferring a bunch of Hyatt Points at one time. Just be aware that the value of Hyatt Points can easily be 2 cents or more depending on the hotel.
Hyatt Points To United
You can transfer your Hyatt Points to United using the following steps:
- Log into your World of Hyatt account.
- Click on your name in the upper right and click on Rewards.
- Scroll to the bottom and click Turn Points into Miles.
- Click Convert Existing Points To Miles.
- Select United from the list of airlines and enter your MileagePlus Number.
- Enter how many Hyatt Points you want to convert.
- Click Convert.
IHG Points can be transferred to United at a 5:1 ratio. IHG Points are earned at a base rate of 10 points per $1 spent which comes out to 2 United Miles. With IHG Spire Status and the IHG Premier Credit Card, you can earn as high as 30 IHG Points per $1 spent at IHG brand hotels which comes out to 6 United Miles when transferred.
IHG Points To United
Marriott Bonvoy Points can be transferred to United at a 3:1.1 ratio which includes a 10% bonus thanks to the United-Marriott RewardsPlus Partnership. This means that every 3,000 Marriott Bonvoy Points you transfer will give you 1,100 United Miles. On top of that, Marriott throws in a bonus 15,000 Bonvoy Points for every 60,000 points you transfer.
With Marriott Titanium Status or higher and any of the Marriott Credit Cards (not including the Marriott Bold), you can earn as high as 23.5 Marriott Bonvoy Points per $1 spent at Marriott Hotels which comes out to be 8.6 United Miles which is the highest you can earn with any hotel chain.
Marriott Points To United
You can transfer your Marriott Bonvoy Points to United using the following steps:
- Go to Marriott's Points To Miles page.
- Sign into your Marriott Bonvoy account if you haven't already.
- Click on Transfer Points.
- Select the United as the Frequent Flyer Program and enter your United MileagePlus number.
- Enter how many Marriott Bonvoy Points you want to transfer.
- Click Continue.
- Review the transaction and confirm the transfer.
Radisson Rewards Points can be transferred to United at a 10:1 ratio. Radisson members earn 20 points per $1 as a base which comes out to 2 United Miles.

You can transfer your Radisson Rewards Points to United using the following steps:
- Go to Radisson's Airline Miles page.
- Click Redeem Now and sign into your Radisson Rewards account.
- Select United Airlines from the list of programs.
- Select the number of Radisson Points you want to transfer.
- Enter your United MileagePlus number.
- Click Redeem Now.
Wyndham Rewards Points can be transferred to United at a 5:1 ratio. Wyndham Points are earned at a base rate of 10 points per $1 spent which comes out to the standard 2 United Miles per #1 spent.

You can transfer your Wyndham Points to United with the following steps:
- Head to Wyndham's Travel Points page.
- Scroll down to United and click Redeem.
- Log into your Wyndham Rewards Account (if you haven't already).
- Select how many Wyndham Points you want to transfer to United.
- Enter your name and your United MileagePlus number.
- Agree to the terms and click Submit.
Earning Miles With Partner Credit Cards
You can earn a lot of United Miles using transfer partner credit cards. This is done by running spend through a transfer partner's credit card and then transferring those points to your United MileagePlus account. Depending on the partner, this can earn you tens of thousands of United Miles easily through sign up bonuses and everyday credit card spend.
The list of cards below consist of credit cards that earn United Miles directly and credit cards that earn points with partners that you can transfer to your United MileagePlus account. Earning rates for transfer partner credit cards listed in the table reflect the transfer ratios (as defined in the calculator listed in the previous section above).
Chase Ultimate Rewards Points
The Chase Ultimate Rewards program is going to be the best transfer partner for earning United Miles. You'll be able to easily earn 2x-3x miles spending in both travel and dining along with picking up miles with top business categories such as shipping, internet, and phone services. You can also convert Chase cash back into points which opens up opportunities to earn 5x across categories such as office supply, cable, and more thanks to the quarterly rotating categories offered on the Chase Freedom Card.
Marriott Bonvoy Points
Marriott Bonvoy credit cards will not earn you as many miles as Chase's Ultimate Rewards credit cards, but they can still earn you a solid chunk of points if you nail a nice sign up bonus. Marriott has been known to offer sign up bonuses in the 80,000 to 120,000 point range for their credit cards. This can earn you an easy 26,666 to 40,000 United Miles plus a bonus 5,000 United Miles for every 60,000 Points you transfer.
Other Ways To Earn
Transferring points to your United MileagePlus account is a great way to build up your United Miles balance. You can also earn miles spending with United's many travel partners. This includes booking other forms of travel such as hotels and car rentals as well as shopping online and dining out at your favorite restaurants
If you need United Miles now and don't have the option to transfer, you can also consider buying United Miles. This is a more costly option, but it can be a good way to go if you're a few miles short of a redemption and need the miles immediately.
