Leading the pack is going to be the American Express Business Gold Card which can earn 4x Membership Rewards Points. These points can be worth as much as 2+ cents each when transferred to AMEX's airline and hotel partners, but can also easily be redeemed for 1.3 cent toward travel as well.
Next is the Chase Ink Business Preferred which has a smaller price tag than the AMEX Gold, but still offers a solid return earning you 3x Ultimate Rewards Points in which points are easily redeemable for 1.25 cents each or can be transferred to Chase's partners for up to 2+ cents in value. Whether this card is better than the AMEX Gold will depend on how much you value the rewards offered by each card (hint: use the credit card calculators).
If you're looking for cash back, your best bet in terms of a business card will be the no-annual fee American Express Blue Business Cash Card which earns 2% cash back on the first $50,000 in purchases during the year. Listed below are the best credit cards for the given category sorted by return. Some credit cards have a wide range of value due to having multiple redemption options that yield such. For example, you may be able to redeem a program's points for cash back at value of 0.5 cents each but redeeming the same points for travel could offer a value of 1.25 cents each. You don't want to pick up a card that has an annual fee that doesn't match up with how you plan on redeeming your rewards. That will give you a negative return and no one wants that. So be sure to research the value of points and miles to get an idea of how value they will have for you. Don't go by the return values listed below alone.
