Norwegian Cruise Line
Norwegian Cruise Line offers benefits through their Latitude Rewards program as well as the ability to earn WorldPoints with the NCL credit card.
Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is a U.S.-based cruise line headquartered out of Miami, Florida. They are the third-largest cruise line in the world by passengers and is owned by parent company Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings. As of December 2019, they have 17 cruise ships with another six on order.
Norwegian's reward currency is called WorldPoints. Norwegian WorldPoints can only be earned by those with the NCL Mastercard. These points are not earned by cruising Norwegian, so you will need the Mastercard in order to participate in the program. WorldPoints can be used for cruises ticket purchases, room upgrades, discounts, and onboard credits.
As previously mentioned, Norwegian WorldPoints are earned using the NCL Mastercard. These point cannot be earned cruising Norwegian or accumulated in any other way.
WorldPoints can easily be redeemed for a value of 1 cent each when it comes to discounts and onboard credits, but you can get as high as 1.7 cents (or more) by using WorldPoints for cruises and room upgrades.
Credit Card Rewards Calculators
Norwegian has one WorldPoints earning card called the Norwegian Cruise Line Mastercard or NCL Mastercard for short. It earns triple WorldPoints when used for Norwegian Cruise Line purchases which includes ticket purchases. Depending on how often you cruise Norwegian and how much you spend with Norwegian, the card could be worth grabbing up since it has no annual fee. If you're a Bank of America Preferred Rewards client, you can earn up to 5.25 WorldPoints per $1 spent with Norwegian.
You can click on any of the credit cards below to learn about the bonus categories, perks & benefits, standard sign up bonus, and fees of the card. Each credit card also has it's own rewards calculator. The calculator will calculate how many rewards you can earn and the cash value of the credit card based on your monthly/yearly spend, how much each card benefit is worth to you, and the fees of the card. You can compare the results side by side any credit card featured on the site. Any spend you enter into the credit card calculator will carry over to all credit card calculators on the site, so there's no need to re-enter spend when jumping page to page.
Comparison Calculators features side by side comparisons of frequently compared credit cards or comparisons requested through our YouTube channel. These calculators are already set up so you can immediately start calculating total rewards as well as the cash value of the compared cards based on your monthly/yearly spend, how much the card benefits are worth to you, and the annual fees. Comparison Calculators does not allow you to change the designated cards being compared. If you want to compare credit cards outside of the comparisons listed below, I recommend searching for the credit card you want to compare and then using its calculator to compare it against anything featured on the site.
