Hotel Loyalty Programs
Many hotels offer rewards points when you stay with their hotel, shop with their travel partners, or use their co-branded credit cards. These points can be redeemed for free nights, gift cards, merchandise, and even be transferred to airline loyalty programs for free flights and more. What's the best hotel loyalty program? Well that will depend on personal preference. There are lots of things to consider such as location and number of hotels around the world, the type of properties they have in their portfolio (from economical to luxury brands), perks that come with earning elite status and how easy/hard it is to earn status, and much more. Deciding can be tough, but that's where we help out.
The Point Calculator covers several of the top hotel brands around the world. For each of the programs listed below, we cover:
- How Points Are Calculated
- Hotel Credit Cards
- Travel Partners
- Transfer Partners (To and From)
- The Value of Redeeming Rewards Points
- Befits and Qualifications of Earning Elite Status
- ...and of course Reward Point Calculators!
You can click on any of the programs below to get the in-depth details on the program. Be sure to check out the Credit Card Value Calculators as well. You can calculate the dollar value of any hotel credit card based on how much spend you will run through it, the cash value of how much you think each card perk/benefit is worth, and the annual fee. You can also compare any hotel credit card side-by-side with another card against the same criteria. Once you have an idea of which rewards cards you want, jump over to the Credit Card Comparison Tool to compare different combinations of cards side-by-side and make sure you're getting the most from your spend!
