Best Credit Cards For Hyatt Points | The Point Calculator

Best Credit Cards For

Hyatt Points

Enter your spend across different categories to get a list of the best credit cards for earning Hyatt Points. Includes transfer partner cards. Compare!

The Chase Ultimate Rewards Program is Hyatt's only direct transfer partner. This means you can earn Hyatt Points using the Chase World of Hyatt Credit Card, Chase Ultimate Rewards Credit Cards, and Chase Cash Back Credit Cards assuming you have at least one Ultimate Rewards Card that is tied to the same Chase account.

If you're looking to earn Hyatt Points on travel and dining, the Chase Sapphire Reserve is going to be your best bet. The Sapphire Reserve is a luxury card meaning it has a high annual fee, but it comes with a bunch of perks and benefits that can easily make up for the fee. Plus, you'll be earning the equivalent of 10 Hyatt Points per $1 on Lyft rideshare services and 3 Hyatt Points per $1 on both dining and travel purchases.

Another great option is the Chase Freedom Card. The Freedom Card earns 5% cash back on quarterly rotating categories. If you have at least one Ultimate Rewards credit card attached to the same Chase account, you can convert your Chase cash back into Ultimate Reward Points and then transfer those points to Hyatt. This means you can earn 5x Hyatt Points across rotating categories which is pretty great.

Both the Chase Ink Business Preferred and Chase Ink Business Cash cards are also great options. These business cards will earn you either 3x or 5x across several categories including cable, internet, and phone service spend.

Best Credit Card Calculator

This Hyatt Point Calculator will give you a list of the best credit cards for earning Hyatt Points based on your monthly, yearly, or quarterly spend across different categories. Results will include credit cards that earn Hyatt Points directly and credit cards that earn rewards that are transferable to your World of Hyatt account.

Credit Card Search Types

Best Cards By Estimated Return - Get a list of credit cards that gives you the best return. This is based on spend, currency value, annual credits, and annual fees.

Best Cards By Total Points - Get a list of credit cards that earns you the most points/miles based on spend. Currency value, annual credits, and annual fees are not factored into this search. Great for those who get waived fees (i.e. military).

After your results are displayed, I recommend clicking on a card's Rewards Calculator. This allows you to come up with a more accurate number by adjusting the cash value of perk, being able to calculate spend bonuses & other savings, add in sign up bonuses, toggle annual fees and authorized user fees, and much more. You'll also be able to compare the results side by side any credit card featured on the site!

Click on Rewards Calculator to compare credit cards side by side based on spend, benefits, and fees. You can also change any credit card to reflect transfer partner ratios (when applicable).
