If you're in need of American Airlines miles, there are two programs in Canada that offers credit cards that earn transferable points to AAdvantage: RBC Avion Rewards and Marriott Bonvoy. The transfer rates for both programs are relatively low, but they can still be useful for topping off your AAdvantage account.

RBC Avion Elite points can be transferred to American Airlines AAdvantage at a 10:7 ratio. This means every 10,000 Avion Elite points you transfer to AAdvantage will give you 7,000 miles.
This isn't the best ratio, but it's the best when it comes to earning points transferable to AAdvantage in Canada. RBC credit cards offers some pretty decent intro bonuses, so you can top off your account with a decent amount of miles.
