When a rewards program or credit card is offering 10% cash back, it means that for every $1 you spend you will earn 10 cents ($0.10) in the form of cash back.
You can calculate 10% cash back multiplying 0.1 by the amount you plan on spending. If you were to spend $1,000, you would calculate 10% back by doing $1,000 x 0.1 which would equal $100.
Use the 10% Cash Back Calculator to calculate 10% cash back based on the value entered.

10% Back Credit Cards
There's not any credit cards in Canada that earns 10% back across all purchases. Your best bet for finding anything that high will usually be through sign up bonuses in which you're granted additional rewards for running spend through the card within the first few months of having it.
Currently, the Tangerine credit cards offers the best rates for earning high cash back via the sign up bonus. They both also have no annual fee and allow you to earn 2% cash back on up to three categories of your choice!
Online Shopping Portals
Another way that you can earn a significant amount of cash back is by using online shopping portals. These portals allow you to earn cash back, points, and miles just for doing what you would normally do... shop online!
Most online shopping portals receive a commission when you, the shopper, makes a purchase using any of the thousands of retailer links on the site. The portal then shares part of the commission with you.
So there's no cost to using a portal... it's basically free cash back, points, or miles and I highly recommend using a cash back portal if you frequently shop online.
You can read up more on online shopping portals or you can sign up for the portals using the links below. Signing up is free and you can earn bonus cash back, points, or miles when using our links.
