AMEX Membership Rewards credit cards
American Express Membership Rewards Points earned with AMEX Canada can be transferred to Marriott at a 5:6 ratio. This means every 5,000 AMEX Points you transfer would give you 6,000 Marriott Bonvoy Points.
AMEX Canada is the hands down best option for earning Marriott Bonvoy Points on everyday spend outside of using Marriott's own co-branded Canada credit cards. You can maximize your points easiest by picking up the American Express Cobalt Card which earns up to the equivalent of 6X Marriott Points per $1 spent.
You can also pick up The Platinum Card or Business Platinum Card to get complimentary Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite status which is higher than what Marriott's own credit cards offer.
