Nectar points have a value of £0.005 per point when redeemed with most Nectar partners. This means that every 500 points you redeem will be worth £2.50.
- Sainsbury's: 500 points are worth £2.50 in-store and online with Sainsbury's.
- Argos: 500 points are worth at least £2.50 with Argos.
- Nectar Hotels: Split tender options for bookings are available in set amounts with 500 points = £2.50 towards your booking.
- Tu: 500 points are worth £2.50 with Tu, capped at 100,000 points per transaction (£500).
- Dulux Decorator Center: Points can be redeemed in 4,000-point increments for £20 vouchers.
Nectar Rewards points can also be used with the following partners which offers varying value:
- Esso: Enjoy 5p off every litre of fuel when you redeem 300 Nectar points. Discount applies on the first 60 litres only.

Point transfers to British Airways
Nectar Rewards points can be converted into Avios with British Airways. This can be done at a rate of 400 Nectar points for 250 Avios.
This will generally be the best use of Nectar Rewards points. Here's our breakdown:
- Economy Class Redemption: Avios average value is 1p per Avios (~0.625p per Nectar point).
- Upper-Class Redemption: Avios can be worth up to 2p+ per Avios (~1.25p+ per Nectar point).
So as long as you're not redeeming Avios for significantly low value, you can benefit from converting them to Avios if you're looking for free or reduced flights.
