The Citi® / AAdvantage® Executive World Elite Mastercard® is a premium luxury card. It comes equipped with several travel perks and offers so good benefits when traveling with American Airlines.

The Executive Card is one of the only premium luxury cards next to both the Delta SkyMiles Reserve and Delta SkyMiles Business Reserve cards which offer similar perks but specific to Delta Airlines.

AAdvantage Executive Card earning rate

The Citi AAdvantage Executive Card features the following bonus categories and earning rates:

  • 2X American Airlines
  • 1X Everything Else

There's no limit to the amount of bonus AAdvantage Miles you can earn spending with American Airlines and no limit to the amount of AAdvantage Miles you can earn with the card overall.

AAdvantage Executive Card benefits

First Checked Bag Free

When you use the Citi AAdvantage Executive Card to pay for your flight, you and up to 8 companions traveling on the same reservation will receive the first checked bag free of charge. This can save you up to $540 per round trip.

Priority Perks

As a Citi AAdvantage Executive cardholder, you'll receive a handful of priority perks which includes priority check-in, screening, and boarding privileges.

Global Entry/TSA PreCheck Credit

Receive up to a $100 statement credit when you use the Citi AAdvantage Executive Card to pay for a Global Entry ($100) or TSA PreCheck ($80) application fee.

TSA PreCheck is for expedited screening through TSA checkpoints while Global Entry is for speeding through customs when re-entering the states. Global Entry also grants TSA PreCheck if approved.

This benefit is available every 5 years (between using the credit).

Admirals Club Membership

As a Citi AAdvantage Executive cardholder, you'll receive complimentary Admirals Club Membership. This grants access to the Admiral Club as well as access to other airline lounges and clubs such as those operated by oneworld carriers.

Authorized users of the Citi AAdvantage Executive will also have access to Admirals Club lounges, but they will not have access to partner/alliance lounges.

This benefit is primary reason for picking up the Citi AAdvantage Executive Card. Not only will you save on membership (which costs up to $650 annually), you'll receive a bunch of useful benefits that can enhance your travel by saving you time and money.

25% Off In-Flight Purchases

When you use the Citi AAdvantage Executive Card to make purchases in-flight, you'll receive 25% off in the form of a statement credit. This applies to food and beverage purchases aboard American Airlines operated flights.

You will not receive a discount on wireless internet access and other in-flight purchases.
