British Airways transfer partners

British Airways is a direct transfer partner of several rewards programs including three major U.S. credit card rewards programs: American Express Membership Rewards, Chase Ultimate Rewards, and Capital One Venture Rewards & Spark Rewards. You can also convert Qatar Avios and Iberia Avios into British Airways Avios as well as transfer points from a handful of hotel loyalty programs.

AMEX points to British Airways

American Express Membership Rewards points can be converted into British Airways Avios at a 1:1 ratio. Every 1,000 AMEX points you transfer to your British Airways Executive Club account will give you 1,000 Avios.

American Express Membership Rewards credit cards features fantastic benefits and offers both high intro bonuses and bonus multipliers. This makes AMEX's program one of the best options for quickly earning hundreds of thousands of Avios.

Chase points to British Airways

Chase Ultimate Rewards points can be converted into British Airways Avios at a 1:1 ratio. Every 1,000 Chase points you transfer to your British Airways Executive Club account will give you 1,000 Avios.

Chase Ultimate Rewards credit cards offer superb travel insurance when you use your card to pay for your trip. This can be a great money saver in the case that your trip plans don't go your way.

On top of that, Chase points can easily be redeemed for 1.25 to 1.5 cents each when booking travel through Chase Travel. This gives you some extra flexibility for using your rewards.

Capital One miles to British Airways

Capital One miles can be transferred directly to your British Airways Executive Club at a 1:1 ratio. Every 1,000 Venture miles or Spark miles you transfer will give you 1,000 Avios.

Capital One miles credit cards earn rewards at a flat-rate for most purchases. This makes them a great choice if you want to focus all of your spending on one card instead of trying to maximize your rewards spending across multiple cards like you would have to do with other programs (if you care about maximizing that is).

In addition to that, all Capital One credit cards have no foreign transaction fee making them great for international travel and purchases AND miles earned with their cards can be redeemed for 1 cent in value towards any kind of travel purchase including parking and tolls — a value you can't get with other top rewards cards.

Bilt points to British Airways

Bilt Rewards points can be converted into British Airways Avios at a 1:1 rate. Every 1,000 Bilt Rewards points you transfer to your British Airways account will give you 1,000 Avios.

Bilt is best known for being able to earn points paying rent with no transaction fee. You can sweep up the Bilt Mastercard or you can use the routing/account number that Bilt gives you to easy rake up points on your rent.

Bilt is free to sign up for, so I suggest reading up on it as the program can be very beneficial for earning additional Avios on something you would normally pay for anyway.

Citi points to British Airways

Citi ThankYou Rewards isn't a direct transfer partner of British Airways, but you can convert Citi points into Qatar Avios and then convert those into British Airways Avios. This will still give you a 1:1 rate as 1,000 Citi points can be converted into 1,000 Qatar Avios which can be converted into 1,000 British Airways Avios.

Do note that in order to transfer Citi ThankYou points to Qatar and many other Citi partners, you will need to have the Citi Strata Premier Card or the (currently unavailable) Citi Prestige Card. Points earned with other Citi cards can be transferred to your Citi Strata Premier or Citi Prestige Card, but they cannot be transferred directly to Qatar.
