Flying Blue is a direct transfer partners of all major U.S. credit card rewards programs. This allows you to easily earn a significant amount of miles with Air France and KLM's frequent flyer program through everyday spending and welcome bonuses.

Citi ThankYou Rewards

Citi ThankYou Points can be transferred to Flying Blue at a 1:1 ratio meaning that 1,000 Citi Points can be converted to 1,000 Flying Blue Miles.

In order to transfer ThankYou Points to all of Citi's transfer partners, you will need to own the Citi Premier® Card as it is the only (available) card that grants this ability.

Once you have the card, you'll be able to use all of Citi's ThankYou Point-earning credit cards to build rewards across everyday purchases.

Citi Premier® Card

The Citi Premier Card earns 3 points per $1 spent on restaurant, supermarket, gas station, air travel, and hotel purchases and 1X points on all other purchases. It offers an annual $100 hotel credit good for bookings made through thankyou.com.

AMEX Membership Rewards

American Express Membership Rewards Points can be transferred to Flying Blue at a 1:1 ratio meaning that transferring 1,000 AMEX Points will give you 1,000 Flying Blue Miles. This gives you a hefty amount of cards you can use to earn a large sum of Flying Blue Miles through intro bonuses and everyday spending.

The Platinum Card® from American Express

The Platinum Card is a luxury travel credit card that has a high annual fee but offers thousands in value to those who can make use of the benefits offered on the card. Chase Ultimate Rewards Points can be transferred to Flying Blue at a 1:1 ratio. This means that you can convert 1,000 Chase Points to 1,000 Flying Blue Miles.

Chase Sapphire Reserve®

The Chase Sapphire Reserve is a premium travel rewards card that offers an easy, high return on your spend. The card earns 10 points per $1 spent on Chase Dining purchases and both hotel and car rental purchases through Chase Ultimate Rewards, 5 points per $1 spent on airline travel purchases through Chase Ultimate Rewards, 3 points per $1 spent on dining and other travel purchases, and 1 point per $1 spent on everything else.

Points earned with the card can be transferred to partners or they can be redeemed for 1.5 cents each towards travel booked through Chase Ultimate Rewards.

Capital One Venture Miles & Spark Miles can be transferred to Flying Blue at a 1:1 ratio. This means that 1,000 Venture Miles or 1,000 Spark Miles can be converted to 1,000 Flying Blue Miles.

If you don't mind booking travel through Capital One Travel or you would rather earn rewards at a flat rate across most purchases without worrying about bonus categories, Capital One is the route to take.

Venture X Rewards Credit Card

The Venture X Rewards Credit Card is a premium travel rewards card that earns 10 Venture Miles per $1 spent on hotels and car rentals booked via Capital One Travel, 5 miles per $1 spent on flights booked through Capital One Travel, and 2 miles per $1 spent on all other purchases. Benefits include an annual $300 statement credit, an annual bonus of 10,000 miles on your account anniversary, access to both Capital One lounges and Priority Pass lounges, and up to $100 towards a Global Entry or TSA PreCheck application.
