If you hold the Citi Strata Premier Card, you can transfer Citi ThankYou Rewards points to JetBlue TrueBlue at a 1:1 ratio—1,000 Citi points convert to 1,000 JetBlue points.

For those without the Citi Premier Card, you can still transfer Citi points to JetBlue, but at a less favorable 5:4 ratio—1,000 Citi points will yield only 800 JetBlue points. While this difference may seem small, it adds up significantly when transferring large amounts of points.

Fortunately, Citi allows point transfers between its ThankYou credit cards. This means you can earn points with a non-premium Citi card, transfer them to your Citi Strata Premier account, and then transfer those points to JetBlue at the optimal 1:1 ratio.

How to transfer Citi points to JetBlue

1. Go to www.thankyou.com, click Sign On, and log into your ThankYou Rewards account.
2. Select an eligible Citi credit card (which will be the Citi Strata Premier℠ Card or Citi Prestige Card).
3. Click on Travel and under Transfer click on Points Transfer.
4. Find JetBlue TrueBlue in the list of programs and click Continue
5. Input how many ThankYou points you wish to transfer to JetBlue TrueBlue.
6. Input your JetBlue TrueBlue account number and confirm it by typing it a second time.
7. Agree to the terms and conditions and click Continue.
8. Review the details of the transfer.
9. Confirm.

Points on the Citi Strata Premier Card and (now unavailable) Citi Prestige Card can be transferred directly to JetBlue TrueBlue at a rate of 1:1 whereas all other Citi-branded credit cards is at a lower 5:4 rate.
