The Citi Premier® Card is one of the best rewards cards for earning a great rates across several popular categories.

It earns 3 ThankYou Rewards points per $1 spent on restaurant, supermarket, gas station, air travel, and hotel purchases and 1 point per $1 spent on all other purchases. These points can be transferred to Singapore KrisFlyer at a 1:1 ratio which is fantastic.

If you don't want to worry about bonus categories and would rather earn rewards at a flat rate across all purchases, the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is the way to go.

The Venture Card earns 5 Venture Miles per $1 spent on hotels and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel and an unlimited 2 miles per $1 spent on all other purchases. Miles can be redeemed for 1 cent each towards travel purchases or be transferred to Capital One's airline and hotel partners.

Since Venture Miles can be transferred to Singapore KrisFlyer at a 1:1 ratio, you're looking at a card that earns the equivalent of 2X to 5X KrisFlyer Miles per $1 spent which is excellent if you're looking to quickly build up your miles.
