The VentureOne Card earns Venture Miles at a flat rate on all purchases. You will earn an unlimited 1.25 Venture Miles per $1 spent on all purchases when using the VentureOne Card. Venture Miles are worth 1 cent each for most redemptions which means this is equal to a 1.25% card. You can get a better return with a 1.5% cash back or 2%+ cash back credit card. The only plus here is that you have the ability to transfer your earned Venture Miles to airline frequent flyer and hotel rewards programs.

Sign Up Bonus (SUB)

The standard Capital One VentureOne Card Sign Up Bonus is 20,000 bonus miles after you spend $1,000 in purchases within the first 3 months of account opening. 20,000 Capital One miles can be redeemed for $200 towards travel purchases made on the VentureOne Card. This can be applied to hotels, rental cars, flights, and any other form of travel charged to the card which makes for very flexible redemption options.

When being transfered to any of Capital One's airline and hotel partners, this is worth either 10,000 or 13,333 miles/points depending on the partner.

Annual Fee

The Capital One VentureOne Card does not have an annual fee. This means you will always be earning a positive return when using the VentureOne.

Authorized User Fee

Capital One does not charge a fee for adding authorized users to the VentureOne Card. Adding additional friends and family will allow you to earn Venture Miles quicker on everyday purchases.

Foreign Transaction Fee

The foreign transaction fee for the VentureOne Card is 0% just like all other Capital One reward cards. There's better cards when it comes to earning rewards on international spending, but this is not a bad choice if you don't mind earning a flat 1.25x miles on all purchases.
