- Summary: It's already a fantastic cash back card due to the 1.5% back it earns on all general purchases, but it can be paired with the Chase Sapphire Preferred® or Chase Sapphire Reserve® for even more value towards travel. Assuming you redeem points at a minimum of 1.25 - 1.5 cents each with the Sapphire Cards, the 1.5X points earned with the Freedom Unlimited will give you a wonderful 1.875% - 2.25% return.

Chase Freedom Flexâ„

- Earning Rate: Earn 5% back on up to $1,500 in quarterly spend between featured rotating categories along with 5% on Chase Travel, 3% back on drugstore and dining at restaurants, and 1% back on everything else.
- Main Highlights: Quarterly rotating categories at no annual fee.
- Annual Fee: $0.
- Summary: Chase typically features great categories every year and earning 5% back at no annual fee is a fantastic deal. As with all Chase cash back cards, you can pair it with the Sapphire cards to increase the value of points on travel redemptions which will generate very high returns.

Chase World of Hyatt Card

- Earning Rate: Earn 4X Hyatt points at Hyatt Hotels, 2X at restaurants and on airline tickets purchases directly from airlines, local transit and commuting, and fitness club and gym memberships, and 1X on everything else.
- Main Highlights: Annual free night award good at a Category 1 - 4 Hyatt hotel, complimentary World of Hyatt Discoverist status, and 5 qualifying nights towards status.
- Annual Fee: $95.
- Summary: Hyatt points can easily be redeemed for 1.8 to 2 cents in value towards free nights with very little effort meaning this card automatically offers exceptional value on your spending. The annual free night award will always give you more value than the annual fee unless you're actively trying to find a hotel that's less than $95/night. If you enjoy Hyatt hotels, there's no reason not to have this card.

Marriott Bonvoy Boundless® Credit Card

- Earning Rate: Earn 6X Marriott Bonvoy points at Marriott properties, 3X on the first $6,000 in combined grocery store, gas station, and dining purchases, and 2X on all other purchases.
- Main Highlights: Annual 35K-point free night award, complimentary Silver Elite status, and 15 elite nights annually towards achieving a higher status.
- Annual Fee: $95.
- Summary: This will be the best Marriott credit card for most unless you frequent Marriott's high-end properties. The free night award certificate will just about always offset the fee and you can use the points you have to make the certificate more valuable. Also, if you hold the business card, you can combine those 15 elite nights with these and start the year with 30 elite nights for automatic Gold Elite and an easier route to Marriott's higher statuses.

Unitedâ„ Explorer Card
