Citi Prestige vs Chase Sapphire Reserve Calculator

Calculate how many points you can earn with the Citi Prestige vs the Chase Sapphire Reserve side by side based on spend, benefits, and annual fees.

Citi ThankYou Points and Chase Ultimate Rewards Points can both be very valuable when it comes to booking free award travel. Outside of booking travel directly through each programs respective portal, you have the ability to transfer these points to airline and/or hotel partners to get values of up to 2 cents per point or more. Which program is better depends strictly on your spend pattern, how much you travel, and the benefits & perks both programs have to offer. Regardless of which program you choose, you're going to want to have either the Citi Prestige, Chase Sapphire Reserve, or AMEX Platinum Card in your wallet if you frequently travel. These cards feature superb returns on various bonus categories and provides many additional benefits that easily make up for the hefty annual fees.

Credit Card Currency

Citi ThankYou Points are worth 1 cent each when redeemed directly with Citi for travel, statement credits, cash back, and gift cards. If you're looking for the best value, Citi ThankYou Points can be transferred to over 10 airline partners which can give you values of 2 cents or more per point.

Chase Ultimate Rewards Points are worth 1.5 cents each for Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders when redeemed directly through Chase's Ultimate Rewards Portal. Points can also be used for other redemptions such as cash back, statement credits, gift cards, and Apple merchandise. Ultimate Rewards Points can be transferred to 10 different partner programs which can also give you values of 2 cents or more per point.
