Royal Caribbean has one co-branded credit card which is called the Royal Caribbean Visa Signature Credit Card. This no-annual fee card earns MyCruise Points and gives you access to the MyCruise Rewards program. You must own either the Royal Caribbean Credit Card or Celebrity Cruises Visa Signature Credit Card to participate in the MyCruise Rewards program.

With the Royal Caribbean Card, you'll earn double MyCruise Points on Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Azamara Club Cruises purchases. MyCruise Points are worth between 1 and 2 cent in value depending on how you redeem them which means you can earn as high as a 4% return on your spend with these three lines.

Bonus Categories

The Royal Caribbean Visa Signature Card features three bonus categories which are Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Azamara Club Cruises purchases. There is no cap specific to the earning rates of the card, but there is an overall cap on how many points you can earn with the card. The Royal Caribbean Visa Signature Card can earn up to 540,000 MyCruise Points per calendar year. This is a hard cap to hit as you would need to spend $270,000 to $540,000 across the card.

  • 2x Royal Caribbean
  • 2x Celebrity Cruises
  • 2x Azamara Club Cruises
  • 1x Non-Category

The Celebrity Cruises Visa Signature Card has the same categories and earning rates.

Sign Up Bonus

The Royal Caribbean Visa Card offers a sign up bonus of 10,000 MyCruise Points after making a transaction within the first 90 days of account opening. This redemption is easily worth $100, but can be worth as much as $200 when combined with more points and redeemed for stateroom upgrades, companion fares, and cruise vacations. It's not the highest of sign up bonuses, but it's still an easy $100 to $200 to earn on a single purchase.

As a new Royal Caribbean Visa Card member, you will also receive a $50 Air2Sea airfare discount when spending at least $3,500 on the card within the first 90 days of account opening.

Annual Fee

The Royal Caribbean Visa Card has no annual fee. This means you will always come out ahead when running spend across the card and will not have to worry about meeting any kind of spend goals to make the card "worth it".

Authorized User Fee

The authorized user fee for the Royal Caribbean Visa Card is $0. You can earn MyCruise Points faster by adding additional users to the card and having them make purchases. If you're looking to build your MyCruise Points, this is a great route to take.

Foreign Transaction Fee

The Royal Caribbean Visa Card has a 0% foreign transaction fee which means you'll be able to use your card worldwide to earn MyCruise Points. Not having to worry about being charged a fee for international purchases is always a plus to any rewards card!

You can use the rewards calculator to calculate how many points, miles, or cash back you can earn based on your spend per category. Note! All category spend entered in the primary card's column (first column when comparing cards) will carry over to all credit card calculators on the site. This means you will not have to re-enter the same information again and again when browsing during the session.
