Capital One Venture miles and Spark miles can be transferred to a hefty amount of frequent flyer and hotel rewards programs. This allows you to redeem your points for higher than the standard 1 cent apiece towards travel.
Capital One transfer partners
Here's the list of Capital One transfer partners:
There's value to be had in almost all of Capital One's transfer partners, but there's a few that stand out which we have listed below.
Capital One miles to Aeroplan points
Air Canada is a Star Alliance partner airline. This means you can use Aeroplan Points to book travel with partners like United Airlines and TAP Air Portugal.
The revamped Aeroplan program has lots of sweet spots that can offer great value. One of the best redemption options is travel between mainland U.S. and Canada in which round-trips in Economy will cost you 25,000 Aeroplan Points or less.
On top of that, Air Canada no longer charges any carrier-based fuel surcharges, so you'll be able to book with any Star Alliance airline and only pay the government taxes and fees.
Capital One miles to Flying Blue miles
Air France & KLM are SkyTeam partners meaning that you can use them to book travel with partners like Delta Air Lines, Aeromexico, and Korean Air.
The Flying Blue program is a direct transfer partner of all major credit card rewards programs. American Express Membership Rewards Points, Chase Ultimate Rewards Points, and Citi ThankYou Points can all be transferred to Flying Blue at a 1:1 ratio which makes it extremely easy to build miles for the program.
As for redemptions, it's a great option for getting from the U.S. to Europe. They publish monthly promotion awards on their website, so I recommend checking that before booking award travel with Flying Blue.
Capital One miles to British Airways Avios
British Airways is a Oneworld alliance partner, so you'll be able to book award flights with partners such as American Airlines and Alaska Airlines.
The British Airways Avios program award chart is distance-based with the sweet spots being short-haul flights with British Airways and their partners.
If you frequently make short-haul domestic trips with American Airlines or Alaska, these trips can cost as low as 7,500 Avios when going through British Airways Executive Club.
Capital One miles to KrisFlyer miles
If you're looking to use your Capital One Miles to fly in luxury, look no farther than the Singapore KrisFlyer program. You can get excellent value out of KrisFlyer Miles when booking their in-air suites or booking first/business class between their U.S. destinations and Asia/Europe.
Singapore is part of the Star Alliance meaning that you can book award travel across partners such as United Airlines, Air Canada, and TAP Air Portugal as well.
Capital One miles to Choice Hotels
Choice Hotels is one of three hotel transfer partners for the Venture Rewards and Spark Rewards programs.
The best thing about Choice is their wide footprint with over 7,000 properties across 41 countries. They also have hotels in many cities in which other big-name brands are not present.
Hotel bookings with Choice start as low as 6,000 points and cap out around 35,000 points (with a few exceptions). While the value of Choice Points are generally low, you can score some solid redemption value in popular European cities.
