Earning Rates
- Earn 3 points per $1 spent on up to $6,000 in U.S. supermarket purchases per year, then 1X.
- Earn 2 points per $1 spent on U.S. gas station purchases.
- Earn 1 point per $1 spent on all other Card purchases.

Any spend entered into the primary card column (the first column) will carry over to all credit card calculators on the site. This means there's no need to re-enter spend when jumping to other credit card pages on the site.
Points can be used for travel, statement credits, gift cards, checkout at several retailers, and more. They can also be transferred to AMEX's 20 travel partners.
Points can be redeemed for 1 cent each towards flights via American Express Travel. Higher values can be obtained transferring points to AMEX's travel partners.

When you make 30 transactions during a statement period, you'll earn a 50% point bonus based on the amount of points you earned during the statement.
