Virgin Australia Velocity is a direct transfer partner of several major Australia credit card rewards programs. This makes it very easy to build up lots of Virgin Australia Velocity points on everyday spending and through credit card intro bonuses.

Here's the list of credit cards you can use to earn Membership Rewards points:
Earn 1.25 points per $1 spent on all purchases (excluding government bodies in Australia).
Earn 1 point per $1 spent on purchases at government bodies in Australia.
Smartphone Cover with up to $500 for repairs.

ANZ Rewards points can be transferred to Virgin Australia Velocity at a 2:1 ratio. Every 2,000 ANZ points you transfer will give you 1,000 Velocity points.
ANZ offers credit cards that earn up to 2X points per $1 spent which is equal to earning 1 Velocity point per $1 spent. On top of that, you'll get to enjoy complimentary travel and purchase insurance with their rewards cards.
Here are the credit cards you can use to earn ANZ Rewards points:
Earn 1.5 ANZ Reward points for every $1 spent up to and including $2,000 per statement period.
Earn 0.5 ANZ Reward points for every $1 spent over $2,000 per statement period.
Complimentary travel and purchase insurance.

Citi Rewards points can be transferred to Virgin Australia at a 2.5:1 or 2:1 ratio depending on which credit card you own. Citi Rewards Card holders will be able to transfer 2,500 Citi points for 1,000 Velocity points while Citi Premier and Citi Prestige cardholders have a better ratio of 2,000 Citi points for 1,000 Velocity points.
Here are the credit cards you can use to earn Citi Rewards points:
Earn 1 Citi Rewards point per eligible $1 spent on domestic spend, capped at $10,000 spend per statement period.
Earn 1 Citi Rewards point per eligible $1 spent on international spend made overseas or online with a merchant based overseas, uncapped.
International travel insurance and mobile phone insurance.
$149 annual fee.
CommBank Awards points can be transferred to Virgin Australia Velocity at either a 2:1 or 2.5:1 transfer ratio depending on which credit card you have. Ultimate Awards and Smart Awards card holders will be able to transfer at the better 2:1 ratio while the standard Awards credit card holders will receive the lower 2.5:1 ratio.
