Etihad is a direct transfer partner three major credit card rewards programs: American Express Membership Rewards, Capital One miles, and Citi ThankYou Rewards. You can also transfer rewards from a handful of hotel loyalty programs directly to your Etihad Guest account.

AMEX points to Etihad
American Express Membership Rewards points can be converted into Etihad Guest miles at a 1:1 ratio. Every 1,000 AMEX points you transfer will give you 1,000 Etihad Guest miles.
American Express offers one of the top travel programs for earning rewards due to the high intro bonuses and bonus multiplier on everyday categories such as supermarket, restaurant, and travel.
Capital One miles to Etihad
Capital One miles can be converted into Etihad Guest miles at a 1:1 ratio. Every 1,000 Venture miles or Spark miles you transfer to your Etihad Guest account will give you 1,000 Etihad Guest miles.
Capital One offers several fantastic travel rewards cards that earns miles at a flat rate across most purchases meaning that you can focus your spend on one card. You'll also be able to enjoy no foreign transaction fees on international spending. Lastly, Capital One miles can easily be redeemed for 1 cent apiece towards any kind of travel — even towards parking and tolls!
Citi points to Etihad
Citi ThankYou points can be transferred from the Citi Strata Premier and Citi Prestige Card to Etihad Guest at a rate of 1,000 Citi points for 1,000 Etihad Guest miles. Points earned with other Citi cards can be transferred to the Citi Strata Premier or Citi Prestige, but not to Etihad and most of Citi's other partners.
I recommend pairing the Citi Double Cash with one of the Citi's travel cards. This allows you to make a strong two card combo that will always earn you at least 2X per $1 spent.
