The Capital One Quicksilver One Card is an exact replica of the Capital One Quicksilver Card with one exception... it has an annual fee. The Quicksilver One Card is considered a starter card. This card is for those who have bad/no credit and looking to get started in the credit card world. The good think about the Quicksilver One Card is that you can product change (commonly referred to as 'PC') to the no-fee Quicksilver Card after some time. This is usually done by contacting Capital One and asking to do such. You may be successful the first time when trying to PC or it may take a few times. It all depends. If you have fair credit, I would avoid this card and go straight for the Quicksilver. And if for some reason you can't get the Quicksilver, there are plenty of 1.5% cash back credit cards as well as several cards that earn 2% cash back or higher that has no annual fee.

Fees
Annual Fee
The Capital One Quicksilver One Card has a $39 fee. While this is a small fee, it will drag the value of the card down heavily as you'll need to spend a whopping $2,600 to cover that fee alone. You'll want to try to product change this card to the no-annual fee Capital One Quicksilver Card as soon as possible. If you're repeatedly unsuccessful in product changing this card then I recommend finding another 1.5% cash back credit card that has no annual fee.
Authorized User Fee
There is no fee associated with adding additional card holders to the Capital One Quicksilver One Card. If you're looking to earn more cash back, you can add additional users to help build your balance and make up for the annual fee.
Foreign Transaction Fee
As with all Capital One credit cards, the Quicksilver One Card does not have a foreign transaction fee. This means you can use the card for international spend and travel without worrying about being charged a fee per $1 spent outside the United States.
Rewards Calculator
You can use the rewards calculator to calculate how many points, miles, or cash back you can earn based on your spend per category. This calculator will also give you the dollar value of the card based on the value of the rewards earned and how much each benefit is worth to you, minus the annual fees. You can click the Compare A Card button to compare this card side by side any other card featured on the site within the same calculator.
Note! All category spend entered in the primary card's column (first column when comparing cards) will carry over to all credit card calculators on the site. This means you will not have to re-enter the same information again and again when browsing during the session.
