Citi offers two cash back credit cards in their lineup. Each of these cards earn ThankYou Rewards points that can be redeemed for cash back at a value of 1 cent per point.
ThankYou Rewards points earned with Citi's cash back credit cards can only be transferred to a select few Citi partners. If you want to transfer these points to all of Citi's partners, you will first need to transfer your points to one of Citi's "premium" ThankYou Rewards credit cards. Those eligible premium cards are:
- Citi Strata Premier℠ Card
- Citi Prestige® Card (currently unavailable)
Points with these cards can be transferred to all of Citi's airline and hotel partners. If you plan on redeeming your rewards for travel, you can benefit heavily from all of this by merely pairing the Citi Strata Premier Card with as many of Citi's other credit cards as you see fit.
In my opinion, the best combo is the Citi Strata Premier Card + Citi Double Cash Card. With this combo you'll always earn 2X to 3X points on all purchases. You can even throw in the Citi Custom Cash if you want to earn 5X on a category of your choice.
