Room upgrades on paid nights
Hyatt points can be used to upgrade rooms on paid nights. This can offer very high value depending on the hotel and the upgrade—even more than the 2 cents per point you can get booking free nights in lots of instances!

Hyatt transfer partners
Hyatt points can be transferred to over 20 airline partners mostly at a ratio of 2,500 Hyatt points for 1,000 airline miles. In addition to that, Hyatt will also throw in a bonus 5,000 airline miles for every 50,000-block of Hyatt points you transfer. So a 50,000 point transfer will give you 25,000 airline miles.
This is an excellent transfer ratio, but unfortunately Hyatt points are worth so much that converting points to airline miles will generally results in loss of value. This is because you're converting about 4.5 cents (or more) in value for only 1 airline mile which is worth 1 to 2 cents apiece on average with most airlines.
