The Marriott Bonvoy Bold is the no annual fee card in the Marriott Bonvoy family of credit cards. The card itself offers a small return on Marriott spend and grants Silver Elite status with Marriott. Bonus Categories

The Marriott Bonvoy Bold Card features two bonus categories which is Marriott hotel spend and general travel spend. There is no limit to the amount of bonus points you can earn spending across these categories and no limit to the amount of points you can earn with the card overall.

    • Applies to paying for hotel stays directly with Marriott and making on-property/site purchases that are categorized as being Marriott (such as a Marriott owned coffee shop or general store).
  • 2x Travel
    • Travel purchases are considered to be:
      • Airlines
      • Hotels, Motels, Timeshares
      • Car Rental Agencies, Taxis, Buses, Trains, Limousines
      • Cruise Lines
      • Travel Agencies, Travel Sites
      • Ferries, Toll Bridges, Highways
      • Parking Lots, Garages
      • Anything else coded as travel

The Marriott Bonvoy Bold Card comes with Marriott Elite Status along with a few standard Chase/Visa perks.

Sign Up Bonus (SUB)

The standard sign up bonus for the Marriott Bonvoy Bold Card is 30,000 Marriott Bonvoy Points after spend $1,000 on the card within the first 3 months of opening.

In terms of free nights, this can be as many as 6 free nights at a Category 1 during off-peak season or 1 night at a Category 5 during off-peak season. Marriott Bonvoy Points can also be transferred to almost 40 partners in which 30,000 points is equal to 10,000 airline miles with most of their partners.

Annual Fee

The Marriott Bonvoy Bold Card does not have an annual fee. It's great for those who still want to earn 15 Elite Nights towards status without paying a fee.

Authorized User Fee

There is no authorized user fee for adding additional users to the Marriott Bonvoy Bold Card. If you're looking to earn additional Marriott Bonvoy Points, adding family and friends can help you earn points faster.

Foreign Transaction Fee

The Marriott Bonvoy Bold Card has a 0% foreign transaction fee. This means you can use the Bold Card for international purchases without worrying about being penalized. With the card only earning 1x on international spending, there's better credit cards for earning Marriott Points worldwide.
