Barnes & Noble offers one rewards credit cards that allows you to earn 5% back on in-store and online purchases. They also offer a membership which grants several additional benefits.

Barnes and Noble Membership

Barnes and Noble membership is pretty straightforward. For $25 per year, you will receive a few benefits which includes:

  • 20% off your first purchase when you enroll! Plus, throughout the year, you’ll receive Member-only offers.
  • 40% off Hardcover Bestsellers in-store.
  • Everything you love at B&N will ring up at 10% off the lowest price, including magazines and Café items.
  • Free shipping on all orders—no minimum purchase required
  • Shop at special sale prices and sign up for events—before everyone else
  • Special Birthday Offer

If you frequent Barnes & Noble, the membership is easily worth it as you'll be paying the equivalent of $2.08 per month.

Even if you don't particularly care for the 40% off bestsellers, the ability to earn up to 10% on everything else as well as the free shipping and occasional coupons should more than cover the $25 fee.

Barnes and Noble credit card

Barnes & Noble offers one credit card called the Barnes & Noble Mastercard®. It offers a 5% discount on purchases made in-store or online with Barnes & Noble and earns Barnes & Noble Points on all non-Barnes & Noble purchases.

Having the card is the only way to earn points in the program. It is not tied to Barnes & Noble membership.
