  • 10 points per $1 spent on hotels and car rentals when you purchase travel through Chase after the first $300 is spent on travel purchases annually.
  • 10 points per $1 spent on Chase Dining purchases with Ultimate Rewards®
  • 5 points per $1 spent on flights when you purchase travel through Chase Travel after the first $300 is spent on travel purchases annually.
  • 3 points per $1 spent on dining at restaurants, including eligible delivery services, takeout, and dining out.
  • 3 points per $1 spent on other travel worldwide after the first $300 is spent on travel purchases annually.
  • 1 point per $1 spent on all other purchases.

Chase Sapphire Reserve points can be moved freely between Chase-branded credit cards attached to your account at a 1:1 rate. This includes the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card and Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card as well as most of Chase's cash back credit cards.

This means you can mix and match personal and business credit cards to maximize your rewards and point values towards travel.

Fees

Annual Fee

The Chase Sapphire Reserve has an annual fee of $550.

Once you factor in the $300 travel credit the card offers will take the effective fee down to $250. With everything this card offers, you'll easily make up for that in value if you travel even a few times per year.

Authorized User Fee

Adding additional users to the Chase Sapphire Reserve Card will cost you $75 per card.

Foreign Transaction Fee

The Chase Sapphire Reserve has a 0% foreign transaction fee which means that you will not be penalized when making purchases worldwide.
